Mu-Danzas Boleras 1812 - 2012was artistically created and directed by the late Sharon Sapienza whose mission was to revive the ‘Escuela Bolera’ - (School of Classical Spanish Dance) repertoire through the traditional music reworked by Agustin Diassera and Paco Cruzado.



‘Escuela Bolera’ is especially known for its varied and intricate dance steps, graceful Spanish arm movements and the unique ability of the simultaneous playing of castanets. This rhythmic and eye-catching/capturing production will be performed by an exquisite cast of professional dancers and is choreographed by Francisco Velasco.



This performance is based on the dance creations of the Pericet family and takes you through a journey of 200 years of Spanish dance. Mu-Danzas Boleras 1812 – 2012 is a refreshing and vibrant interpretation of this unique dance form, whilst preserving its essence: A passion for dance!
